Submission Guidelines:

 

1. The exhibition is open to people of all age groups from any country. Students, photography enthusiasts and professional photographers can submit.

 

2. Submissions have to be made through email to apaexhibition@gmail.com with the name and contact number of the exhibitor. No other details are required initially.

 

3. The submissions may be in monochrome or colour.

 

4. Images captured using digital cameras or drones will be accepted. Mobile phone photos of printable quality will also be accepted. Photos created or altered with AI are not acceptable. The organisers may ask for the original file.

 

5. The theme is OPEN. So, photographs and photo-stories from all categories and styles are welcome.

 

6. A minimum of 1 image and a maximum of 10 images can be submitted for this exhibition. But a maximum of 3 images will be accepted per person.

 

7. For the photo story, a minimum of 4 images and a maximum of 9 images will be accepted. Participants are encouraged to send the photo story in a separate email from their photos.

 

8. Each participant is eligible to submit only one photo story, apart from the general submissions.

 

9. The photo story should be accompanied by the title of the story.

 

10. All the necessary details of the photographs, including metadata, date and place of photo taken, and a few words about your photograph, will be collected after the selection only. There is no need to submit these details right now.

 

11. There are no entry fees for submission of images. Images selected for the exhibition will cost Rs. 800/- per frame. The cost of the photo story exhibit will be informed to the individual photographers, as each display size will vary as per the number of images in the story.

 

12. Once accepted, the photographers will be informed via email and the exhibits will be displayed only after the payment of the fee.

 

13. Image Preparation (read carefully)- Submitted images should have no watermarks, logos or borders. Images may be presented in the following ratios – 1:1 (3600 x 3600 px), 2:3 (3600 x 5400 px), 4:5 (3600 x 4500) and 16:9 (5400 x 3037) or send your photographs at the highest possible quality.

 

14. Photographers Agreement - By submitting the photographs, photographers agree that the selected photograph may be used for the promotion of the APA exhibitions without any payment to the photographer. The copyright of the photo will remain with the photographer. 

 

15. The decision of the selection panel will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
